I don’t know if you remember me but I helped you at the Saddle Rock Meadows Ranch a few summers ago with getting photo inspiration from the foals. I was 12 or 13 at the time working with the horses. I am almost 19 now and have my own horse that I ride in the jumpers. I am looking to get a custom portrait done of him and thought of you when I found a disk of photos that you gifted me for helping you with the foals. I am not sure if you do custom portraits or not but I thought I would reach out! I look forward to hearing from you! Thanks!
I am a little late with this but so wonderful you are on Denman Island. We too are on Denman.
I am a lifelong horseman and would love to see some of your work up close.
I did stunt work in films with horses for many years and am the recipient of the Motion Picture and TV Golden Boot Award and in the Stuntman’s Hall of Fame. My husband rode races for 18 years and father was a professional polo player!
We live also on East Road. Hope to meet you some day.

Just wanted to compliment a beautiful painting I saw at the stampede; I believe it was called Cookie Nose? Or something like that. It reminded me of my horse, Dawn. I loved the bright colors and looking at it made me feel delighted. I don’t see it on your site; is it one of your newer pieces?

Thank you for writing. I am thrilled to know that the painting Cookie Nose touched you and reminded you of your own horse Dawn! Yes, it is a new painting and is already collected, Cookie Nose will be soon with her new family in England. An image will be on my website on my next update, look in the Fairview Arabian Stud inspiration page, as it is inspired by FV Aula Glimmer, a beautiful Arabian Filly.
