If you like painting deer, that is! I just spent a couple of weeks painting the tiny Deer on Denman Island. The deer are a subspecies of Mule Deer, and they are so small… . As Denman Island has no natural predators, the deer are very tame and I can even sit a few yards away and sketch them as they graze or lay down in the shade to chew their cuds.
