There have been a lot of Bald Eagles on Denman Island this year. I watched them during the herring spawn, and it was amazing. The Eagles (along with so many gulls and other birds) line the shores and gorge themselves on Herring Roe, it is something to witness. There can be 8 or 9 Eagles, all sitting in such close proximity, and they are also in the fields and forest on the edges of the ocean.
